Dong Nai reviews implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW

The Dong Nai provincial Party Committee on May 23rd organized a conference to review the one-year implementation of the Politburo’s Directive 05-CT/TW on promoting the studying and following of the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh.

At the event, participants agreed to continue to expand the model or specific work in the studying and following of the example, morality and behaviour of President Ho Chi Minh, and attach the study with each task and responsibility of each Party member, especially the role of exemplariness and pioneering of leaders.

In his speech, Mr. Nguyen Phu Cuong, Party Central Committee (PCC) member, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, said that the results Dong Nai made in carrying out Directive 05-CT/TW made significant contributions to the province’s socio-economic achievements, national defence-security ensuring, and transparent and strong Party building.

He urged participants to consider the continuous study and following of the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh as a big policy of the Party, an urgent task in the short term and a basic mission in the long term.

So far, 100% of Party cells and grassroots Party Committees in the province have carried out Directive 05-CT/TW dated May 15th, 2016, of the Politburo. As many as 55,008 out of 56,963 Party members (96.9%) from Party grassroots organizations studied basic contents of the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh 

At the conference, the provincial Department of Science and Technology was granted a certificate of merit of the PCC Commission for Popularization and Education for its outstanding performance in the implementation of Directive 05-CT/TW. In addition, 17 teams and 17 typical individuals were awarded certificates of merit by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee./.
