Exhibition on Hoang Sa and Truong Sa in Kon Tum

The exhibition displays 23 ancient bibliographies, 114 maps, photos and documents affirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes over historical periods.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Lai Xuan Lam, Vice Chairman of Kon Tum provincial People’s Committee, said that the practical significant activity contributed to improving the awareness of solidarity among people in Kon Ray district in preservation and protection of sovereignty over national border and island regions; and reminded people to be grateful to the generations who sacrificed their lives for national sovereignty.

He also asked local authorities and party committees to promote dissemination and create conditions for Party members, students and people to visit the exhibition, teaching patriotism and improving the awareness of local people on the protection of national sovereignty.

The exhibition will run until August 14th./.
