Exhibition on Vietnam Fatherland Front opens in Hanoi

An exhibition on great national unity has opened at Ho Chi Minh Museum at 19 Ngoc Ha street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.

A display of 250 documents, objects and photos on great national unity is being held at an exhibition which opened in Hanoi on November 15th to mark the 90th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Unified National Front - Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2020).

The exhibition introduces to the public the role, historic mission as well as achievements in the gathering and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; contributing to teaching the tradition of national solidarity, encouraging people to join forces, and unanimously overcome all difficulties and challenges in order to successfully implement the renovation process, soon turning Vietnam basically into a modern-oriented industrial country in the period of integration and development.

Exhibits are divided into parts: introducing President Ho Chi Minh - The builder of the great national unity bloc; solidarity to fight for independence and freedom (1930 - 1945); solidarity resistance war and national construction (1945 - 1954); great unity of the entire people to build and defend socialism in the North and fight for national unification (1954 - 1975); Great national solidarity in the cause of building, developing and defending the country (1975 to present).

Head of the Party Central Committee Commission of Popularization and Education Vo Van Thuong, President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Tran Thanh Man, Vice President and Secretary General of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hau A Lenh and representatives from relevant agencies cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.

The event will run until the end of December, 2020./.
