Experiencing specific culture at Hoang Su Phi terraced fields

According to Vu Manh Ha, Secretary of Hoang Su Phi district Party Committee, the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang, the culture and tourism week on Hoang Su Phi terraced fields will take place from September 28th to 30th.
The event aims to promote the beauty of terraced rice fields and introduce the unique traditional culture of ethnic minority people in the highlands.
Diverse activities will be held such as trade fair, festival of embroidery and weaving of La Chi ethnic minority group in Ban Phung commune, the demonstration of Gau Tao festival, and folk cultural activities of Mong ethnic minority group.
Especially, visitors can experience the ancient tea forest in Nam Pien village and the dancing performance of Dao and Nung ethnic groups.

Hoang Su Phi is best known for the terraced fields in six villages, including Ban Luoc, San Sa Ho, Ban Phung, Ho Thau, Nam Ty and Thong Nguyen.
A visit to these terraced fields not only offers scenic landscapes, but also further insight into local agricultural practices./.
