Ho Chi Minh website new interface debuts

(CPV) – The Ho Chi Minh website on May 19 officially debuted the new interface to continue to renew and increase the quality of contents and interface satisfying domestic and international readers.

The Ho Chi Minh website is the official electronic information channel of the Party Central Committee (PCC) Commission on Popularization and Education, a comprehensive database system about President Ho Chi Minh’s status, life, career, ideology, morality and style. The Ho Chi Minh website has a very important position in order to contribute to educating and disseminating Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style to all Vietnamese.

According to Mr. Tran Doan Tien, Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper Editor-in-Chief, the new interface applies the latest technology platform, diversifies compatible operating systems and features optimized utilities for devices such as computers and smart phones, more secure for the system, meeting the large volume of readers' access.

Multimedia applications are included in the website, as modern journalistic form in the era of digital technology (4.0), bringing website professionalism and helping readers conveniently search and study valuable materials about President Ho Chi Minh, including movies, photos, audio, videos and 3D museum.

The Ho Chi Minh website has updated and published thousands of news and articles reflecting outstanding examples in studying and following Uncle Ho; exploiting, collecting, digitizing and introducing many precious documents about President Ho Chi Minh, including movies, photos, sounds, books, newspapers and documents. It has also developed, digitized and broadcast on the Internet a number of 3D museums in the system of museums and memorial relics about President Ho Chi Minh.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the PCC, Head of the PCC Commission on Popularization and Education, suggested the need to continuously update and supplement information and materials to help domestic and international readers have a more thorough and comprehensive understanding about President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career.

He also urged further disseminating outstanding stories or followers of Uncle Ho’s example, contributing to teaching patriotism, national pride, tradition and history; and arousing the aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country and firmly defend the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland./.
