In the context of the COVID-19 epidemic, the central province of Thua Thien – Hue has decided to delay the Hue Festival 2020, which is now scheduled to take place from April 1st to 6th.

The information was released by Thua Thien – Hue provincial People’s Committee Office on the afternoon of February 18th.
With the theme "Cultural heritage with integration and development - Hue is always new", the 11th Hue Festival will be a milestone marking 20 years of development of the national culture-arts and tourism event. The main events of the festival will be the artistic performance to open the festival, Trinh Cong Son music programme, Ao dai festival, gastronomy festival and street festival.
In addition, diverse cultural activities such as kite festival, science festival, beer festival, international trade fair, sports activities and exhibitions promise to bring new and unique experiences in culture, history and arts.
Earlier, more than 20 art troupes from Korea, Japan, Singapore, Philippines, China, Israel, France, Russia, Belgium, Denmark, Austria, Hungary, Czech, United States and Mexico have confirmed their participation in the event./.
