Photo exhibition on two-decade Vietnam – Russia strategic partnership

20 photos on two-decade Vietnam – Russia strategic partnership are on display at an exhibition which opened at the headquarters of the Russian Federation Council in Moscow on December 1.

The exhibition is held by Vietnam News Agency (VNA) and Russia’s TASS News Agency on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the declaration on the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia during the first official visit to Vietnam by Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 1, 2001.

The photos were captured by reporters from VNA and TASS. They were arranged chronologically, reflecting the latest period in the history of friendship and cooperation between the two nations and covering the topics of politics, economy, military, culture, among others.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko attended the event.

This is the fourth photo exhibition jointly organised by VNA and TASS. All the exhibitions have affirmed the role of VNA and TASS as the leading media agency in each country as well as the leading agencies in providing information on the relations between the two countries and outstanding events in Russia-Vietnam ties./.
