Strengthening Vietnam - China cultural and tourist exchanges

An exhibition and a workshop on culture with tourism development and promotion took place in Hanoi on July 1st.

The two events were organized on the occasion of the visit by Chinese Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Li Qun to Vietnam.
As many of 200 handicraft gifts made by artisans from five museums of China’s Guangxi province are on display at the exhibition. These products have contributed significantly to helping the museum promote its image and make the museum an indispensable destination of the province.
The two sides affirmed that over the past year, the bilateral cooperation have developed well. Cooperation between the two parties has achieved great success in the field of culture and tourism. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China signed a memorandum of understanding in culture and tourism in the 2019-2021 period.
The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has signed a tourism cooperation memorandum with many provinces and cities of China. Agencies of the two ministries have signed many cooperative memorandums along with commitments that are the basis for cultural and tourism activities. Exhibitions and seminars are meaningful cultural activities, contributing to strengthening traditional friendship, enhancing mutual understanding between the two peoples./.
