Temporarily pausing festivals, closing bars and karaoke in Vinh Phuc

According to the document, the pandemic around the world is complicated, and domestic COVID-19 cases have increased rapidly. The source of infection was unknown. The new virus strains have high virulence and high probability of infection. The whole province has nearly 3,500 cases returning from Da Nang, so the risk of COVID-19 cases is very high.

Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control asked heads of provincial departments, agencies, mass organizations, chairmen of People's Committees at all levels, and heads of  agencies and units in the province to continue to uphold responsibility, considering COVID-19 prevention an important and urgent task at present.

He also asked provincial media to continue providing information about the pandemic and communications in the community to local people, to guide and recommend prevention and control of epidemics.

The locality will reactivate prevention and control measures according to the Prime Minister's Directive 19/CT-TTg of April 24, 2020, which requires people to wash their hands frequently with soap or disinfectant solution, wear a mask when going out, keep a safe distance when contacting, and do not gather more than 30 people in public places.

Activities of karaoke, discos, massages, bars, and festivals in the province will temporarily stop from 0:00 on August 3, 2020 until further notice./.
