Training Huong River tourist boat owners on Hue singing activities

Representatives of more than 60 boat owners and Hue singing performance organizers were provided much information on the current regulations and laws in performing arts activities.

The training course focused on responsibility of individuals participating in and organizing arts performances; regulations on the management of inland water travel passenger transportation in the province; regulations on performing activities and organizing Hue singing performance services in the province.

Deputy Director of the central Thua Thien – Hue provincial Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Thien Binh said that Hue singing was recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as an intangible cultural heritage, and Hue singing performances on Huong River have long been a famous tourist cultural product.

The provincial cultural sector is proposing the provincial People’s Committee develop the project "Promoting the value and building Hue singing to become a unique cultural service product in the 2020 -2025 period"./.
