Thereby, a chain of showrooms under the prestigious and highly competitive OCOP program will be formed for consumers, as well as domestic and foreign visitors.

Products which will be displayed at the showrooms include silk, confectionery, food, safe fruit and vegetable, and handicrafts.

They must be rated at least three-star and have been certificated as typical rural industrial products at the municipal and regional levels.

In 2020, 14 OCOP showrooms were put into operation in the capital city.

Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Lan, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said that in order to promote and introduce OCOP products to more consumers, the department proposed the city People’s Committee of Hanoi support funding for surveying, popularizing, and organizing opening ceremonies, promoting and selling OCOP products, speeding up activities to connect OCOP products with distributors in the city.

At the same time, the department will also organize training courses for OCOP subjects on product quality standards to meet the requirements of distributors and importers./.
