Hepza proposed that the Department of Health offer COVID-19 testing assistance to businesses doing both epidemic fight and production by arranging about 104,000 quick test kits for nearly 52,000 workers to self-test within 14 days (every 7 days), from August 23 to September 6, 2021.

It urged the People’s Committees of Thu Duc city, District 12, and Nha Be district to soon organize the first vaccination for employees working at enterprises under the motto of “3 on the spot” in export processing zones and industrial parks.

Regarding social security issues, Mr. Hua Quoc Hung, Head of the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in Hepza, suggested that the Department of Industry and Trade provide security bags (bags of essential goods) for disadvantaged workers in export processing zones and industrial parks.

Hepza will coordinate with infrastructure development companies to receive goods from suppliers to deliver to industrial parks.

Particularly for industrial zones in districts in the “red zone”, the district People’s Committee acts as the receiver to transfer orders from suppliers to Hepza.

In addition, the authority proposed the City People’s Committee direct the units on duty to control and allow the circulation of vehicles of freight transport units, especially enterprises providing industrial meals. Meanwhile, districts and Thu Duc city should arrange suitable barrier areas to facilitate workers’ movement from accommodation to working places./.
