Ministry of Industry and Trade: Public investment disbursement fulfils 49% of year’s plan

On the basis of evaluating the results of the implementation of the public investment plan in 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has clearly defined the objectives and the order of priority, and is expected to register 882.637 billion VND for the 2022 public investment plan to serve the activities of state management agencies, the fields of information technology; education; vocational training and education; science and technology in accordance with the list of medium-term public investment plans for the 2021-2025 period submitted to the competent authorities.

To realize the Prime Minister’s Decision 2185/QD-TTg dated December 21, 2020 on the assignment of the state budget investment plan in 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has urgently assigned the public investment capital plan from state budget in 2021 for units and regularly issues documents to direct and urge the disbursement.

The Ministry’s public investment capital assigned by the Prime Minister totalled 1,076.415 billion VND, including 688 billion VND of domestic capital and 388.415 billion VND of foreign capital.

Specifically, 324.7 billion VND of domestic capital is assigned to implement transition projects from the 2016-2020 period and investment preparation projects for the 2021-2025 period, equivalent to 48% of the 2021 plan.

The remaining of more than 363 billion VND that has not yet been eligible for legal assignment is mainly new projects registered to start construction in 2021 under the list of registering medium-term public investment plans in 2021-2025./.
