Truong Sa MT.01 fishing logistic service ship launched in Da Nang

The largest steel ship for fishing and logistic service in the central coastal region was launched in Da Nang on October 25th.

The ship is owned by Tran Minh Tuan from Thach Thang ward, Hai Chau district with a total investment of VND31.05 billion; in which VND29.5 billion was lent by Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam’s branch in Da Nang with preferential interest rate in accordance with Decree 67 of the Government.
According to Bao Duy Shipbuilding Joint Stock Company, the ship is 41 meters in length, 8.2 meters in width, 3.6 meters in height, and 2.68 meters of water level. It has a load of 350 tons.
Tran Minh Tuan named the ship Truong Sa MT.01 because it mainly operates in Truong Sa fishing ground with the function of purchasing, preliminarily processing and preserving by freezing.
In addition, the ship also provides food, necessities such as water, oil and ice for fishing vessels operating in two traditional fishing grounds of Vietnam./.
