Vietnam, Germany increase cooperation in vocational training

Germany has strictly and efficiently cooperated with the Vietnamese Ministry of Labor, War-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), not only in vocational training but also in many other important areas, including green growth and legal projects.

So said Doan Mau Diep, MOLISA Deputy Minister, during a reception on November 26th for representatives from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, who are on a visit to Vietnam for vocational training cooperation.

During the reception, Mr Diep stressed that Vietnam always attaches great importance to expanding cooperation with Germany, including in vocational training.

According to him, the overseas labor centre has been assigned to sign a cooperative deal with the Vivantes Company for recruiting, training and bringing Vietnamese to Germany to study and work in nursing and caring for the elderly.

After 3 years, the number of trainees has increased from 114 to 404, with 299 having been approved to be sent to work.

Deputy Minister Diep confirmed that the cooperative programs between the two sides have reported their efficiency, including in vocational training.

“We consider Germany standard the international standard, and are following this standard,” he said. “Standard criteria, including standards on green growth, are being developed for satisfying businesses’ requirements during international integration.”

Showing their pleasure with the efficiency of the cooperative programs, representatives from the Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development said that the success comes from sustainable development, and that they hoped the programs will be expanded in the future.

Germany attaches great importance to carrying out technological and financial cooperation with Vietnamese partners by equipping schools and sending experts to localities./.
