Hanoi are building 203 housing projects

Accordingly, in the 2016-2020 period, the city has called for investment and development of 83 social housing projects with about 6.71 million square meters of housing floor. Of which, 25 projects have been completed with more than 1.25 million square meters of floor; while 58 projects are being conducted with more than 5.45 million square meters of floor.

In terms of commercial housing, 348 projects have been completed with more than 21.5 million square meters of floor. In addition, there are 145 ongoing projects with approximately 23.1 million square meters of floor.

In 2021, the steering committee will continue to coordinate and propose to the Ministry of Construction to soon issue instructions on the order and procedures for bidding to select investors to implement the housing construction projects according to regulations; speed up the establishment and approval of subdivision planning and urban planning; and planning for renovation and reconstruction of old apartment buildings./.
