(CPV) - The Hanoi People’s Committee on December 11 organized a ceremony to honour 26 products from 19 eligible businesses in the capital as key industrial products of Hanoi.

According to the Hanoi’s Department of Industry and Trade, businesses, which have made efforts in scientific and technological applications, applied international standards in quality management and increased the degree of automation in production and management, were named in the list.
“The recognition and honour will help increase the brand value, thereby promoting production and business, creating conditions for businesses to maintain stability and develop sustainably in the city,” said Mr. Dam Tien Thang, Vice Director of Hanoi’s Department of Industry and Trade.
Over the past three years, the capital has carried out many support policies and programs for businesses such as trade promotion activities and an improved business environment, helping enterprises increase competitiveness, speed up scientific and technological applications and increase the quality of human resources.
After three year of implementing the project, 117 products from 77 businesses in Hanoi have been recognized as qualified industrial products. The turnover of 77 enterprises with recognized products was estimated at nearly 200 trillion VND (8.69 billion USD) and their export turnover was estimated at more than 1 billion USD this year.
Mr. Le Hong Son, Deputy Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee, also urged the Department of Industry and Trade to advise the city on mechanisms and policies to better support businesses with key industrial products./.
