Hanoi and Vientiane share experiences on people's council activities

The working visit aims to promote coordination with the People's Council of Vientiane in exchanging and sharing their experience in building legal documents and making decisions on important issues; and improving the quality and effectiveness of the activities of monitoring, questioning, and accounting in accordance with functions, tasks, and authority of the People's Council.

It also strengthens coordination between Hanoi and Vientiane in organising activities to promote and connect the consumption of products, and to expand cooperation of social security.

On April 20, the delegation visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos. Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Ha said that Hanoi has always paid attention to promoting cooperation with Vientiane in all fields, for the strong development of both capitals, contributing to preserving and further promoting the special traditional friendship between the two Parties and States, and their peoples.

Hanoi highly appreciated the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos for its contribution, active support and always accompanying with Hanoi in carrying out cooperation activities with Laos, she added.

For his part, Chargé d'affaires of the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos Phan Minh Chien said the embassy will always accompany and well coordinate with Hanoi in enhancing foreign activities with the Lao side./.
