Hanoi Capital Liberation Day celebrated in Czech Republic

(CPV) - The Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic organized a ceremony to mark the 68th anniversary of Hanoi Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1945 – October 10, 2022).

At the ceremony, apart from displaying and exhibiting works and objects of ancient Hanoi, singers and dancers also performed emotional songs about Hanoi, creating an atmosphere of excitement and pride for the Vietnamese people in the Czech Republic in particular, and the Vietnamese community in Europe in general.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Dieu Linh, representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic, said that the event is a very meaningful cultural activity, contributing to improving the quality of spiritual life of overseas Vietnamese. At the same time, it is also an opportunity to communicate with and educate the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic about the revolutionary and cultural traditions of Thang Long - Hanoi. It also aroused the love of the homeland, arousing the desire for dedication, promoting the spirit of innovation and creativity, and contributing to the construction of a civilized and modern Hanoi capital.
