Hanoi dedicates resources to preserving typical architectural works

(CPV) - According to Program 03-CTr/TU of the Steering Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee on "urban embellishment, urban development and urban economy in the 2021-2025 period", the city has determined to review and spend resources to preserve and promote the architectural value of typical works, historical and cultural works in the inner city.

The works include Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Vietnam Military History Museum and Hanoi flag tower; the area of Hoang Dieu Archaeological Historical Park, Kinh Thien Palace and adjacent works; the area of Long Bien Bridge and 131 arches leading the railway to the south of Long Bien Bridge.
It is estimated that 798 billion VND is the budget for the project to preserve the archaeological area at 18 Hoang Dieu Street; 1,800 billion VND to carry out the restoration project of Kinh Thien Palace; 136 billion VND to implement the project of the display house of the Thang Long Royal Palace in the Central Monuments of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long - Hanoi.
This funding source has been arranged according to Resolution 21/NQ-HDND dated September 23, 2021 and Resolution 28/NQ-HDND dated December 28, 2022 of the City People's Council.
The above projects are being implemented. In addition, the city also completed the study and planning of the Co Loa citadel in order to promote the value of the monument, associated with tourism development./.
