(CPV) - The Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has said that 20,794 businesses, with 371,638 laborers in the city received housing rent support, with an amount of more than VND194 billion as of September 5.

The support aims to realize the Prime Minister's Decision 08/2022/QD-TTg stipulating the implementation of the policy of housing rental support for laborers.
In which, for the policy to support laborers working in enterprises (VND500,000 per person per month), there were 16,789 enterprises disbursed, reaching 100% of the number of approved enterprises, with 369,235 laborers approved and 355,053 laborers disbursed to support rent.
For the policy to support workers returning to the labor market (VND1 million per month), there were 4,005 enterprises disbursed, reaching 100% of the number of approved enterprises, with 16,823 laborers approved and 16,585 laborers disbursed to support rent.
Thus, the whole city disbursed 96.4% of the approved amount, reaching 116.5% of the disbursement amount compared to the expected amount.
According to the Hanoi Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, over the past time, the city has implemented a series of solutions to speed up the payment of rent support for laborers.
It informed that, at present, localities are still continuing to strengthen dissemination of rent support policies to landlords./.
