Hanoi launches donation campaign to support Fund "For Vietnam's seas and islands"

A donation campaign was launched by the Hanoi Party Committee on April 3 to support the Fund "For Vietnam’s sea and islands" in 2023.

With affection and responsibility for the country's sea and islands, each cadre, civil servant and public employee of the Hanoi Party Committee donates at least one day's salary.
Previously, the Standing Board of the Hanoi Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee issued an appeal to support the Fund "For Vietnam’s sea and islands" in 2023 to agencies, organizations, units, businesses and the people in the capital.
In the appeal, the Hanoi Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee stated that Vietnam's seas and islands are a part of the sacred territory of the Fatherland that generations of ancestors have shed their blood to build, preserve, develop and protect the country's sovereignty for the present and the future. Participating in the construction and protection of sea and island sovereignty is the right and obligation of every Vietnamese citizen.
At the launching ceremony, 34 units directly registered to support the fund, with a total amount of 30,877.5 million VND./.
