Hanoi provides vocational training to over 100,000 people

(CPV) - In the first 8 months of 2022, vocational training foundations provided vocational training to 172,423 people, the City Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has reported.

Together with it, 131,104 pupils and students graduated from industries, contributing to providing trained human resources. Hanoi is striving to increase the number of trained labourers to 72.2%.
Currently, in Hanoi, there are 355 vocational education foundations. The city currently has 20 public schools and colleges.
To ensure the rate of trained vocational training, from now until the end of 2022, the Hanoi Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs will coordinate with media agencies to promote dissemination of policies to encourage the attraction of vocational training to support vocational education foundations in recruitment and vocational training; and organize conferences to link vocational education with the labour market.
In addition, the Hanoi Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs will organize seminars, career guidance, and online enrollment counseling on Hanoi Radio and Television Station; improve the quality of training at vocational education institutions, linking training with job creation; and continue to coordinate in training, retraining and improving skills for workers in small and medium-sized enterprises in the city./.
