(CPV) - In the first half of 2022, Hanoi created jobs for nearly 119,000 labourers, an increase of 21.4% compared to the same period last year.

According to the Hanoi Statistics Office, in the second quarter of this year, along with the trend of economic recovery after the pandemic, the city has stepped up solutions to support, develop the labour market, and create jobs for workers under the new normal. The number of labourers who found a job in the second quarter increased by 37.8% compared to the first quarter.
In June, the city continued to promote solutions to support, develop the labour market, creating jobs for 21,900 workers.
Generally, in the first 6 months of this year, the city created jobs for more than 118,900 employees, reaching 74.3% of the year's plan, up 21.4% over the same period in 2021.
The Hanoi Employment Service Center also successfully organized 124 job sessions, during which 3,073 units and businesses recruited 7,800 labourers.
It has also opened the official social network channel to communicate news about activities that are of interest to employees. The information includes job sessions and unemployment insurance policies. This is also a channel to promote the image of businesses and individuals, with their recruitment information./.
