Vietnam - France cooperation promotes economic development in the capital

(CPV) - The sixth congress of the Vietnam - France Friendship Association of Hanoi city determined that, for the term 2022-2027, the association will focus on promoting the image and achievements in the process of renovation and integration about the country and people of Vietnam, Hanoi capital, strengthen friendship exchange activities.

In addition to maintaining the programs that are now in order, the external reception activities, in the next term, the Vietnam - France Friendship Association of Hanoi will continue to act as a bridge to find potential partners which are French enterprises and a Vietnamese enterprises having relations with the French side, organize connections and build contact and cooperation programs of the two sides, especially in the areas of start-up, tourism, handicrafts. , agriculture..., contributing to the economic and commercial development of the capital.
The Vietnam-France Friendship Association in Hanoi will continue connecting and building cooperation programmes between the two countries, and helping boost the capital city’s new 2022-2027 tenure.
The association organised the sixth congress, the 2022-2027 tenure, on August 24, during which a 35-member executive committee was elected, with Nguyen Lan Trung re-elected Chairman of the association.
It will also exert efforts to successfully organise activities in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic relations in 2023.
Sophie Maysonnave, Counsellor for Cooperation and Cultural Activities under the French Embassy in Vietnam, said that the Vietnam-France Friendship Association has always been a close friend accompanying France and the French Ambassadors in all meaningful activities./.
