HCMC’s Thu Duc city promotes cooperation with Netherlands

Mr. Hoang Tung, Chairman of Thu Duc City People's Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Thu Duc City Party Committee, on February 27 received Mr. Daniel Stork, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

At the reception, Mr. Hoang Tung introduced the potential and advantages of economy, culture, society, healthcare, transport and tourism of Thu Duc city with specific mechanisms of the first "city within city" in the country. He hoped that after this meeting, it would strengthen the connection and expand cooperation and investment opportunities in the fields of economy, culture, society, healthcare, transport and tourism under the General Planning Project of Thu Duc City until 2040, and contribute to promoting Thu Duc City to soon become an innovative and highly interactive center in the East of HCMC.
Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in HCMC Daniel Stork thanked Chairman of Thu Duc City People's Committee Hoang Tung for taking the time to welcome him, and expressed his pleasure when paying his working visiting to Thu Duc city.
He believed that the cooperation between Netherlands and Thu Duc city will strengthen research and investment in areas of mutual interest such as economy, culture, society, healthcare, traffic and tourism in the coming time./.
