HCMC sends art troupes abroad to serve overseas Vietnamese

The leaders of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) have paid special attention to overseas Vietnamese; recognized and appreciated the contribution of overseas Vietnamese to the homeland as the city has sent art troupes to perform in service of overseas Vietnamese in other countries on the occasion of Vietnam’s great holidays.

The Art Troup of HCMC led by Mr. Nguyen Hoai Huong, Director of the city’s Center for Performance and Cinema, had a tour to serve overseas Vietnamese and Filipino people in Capital Manila on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Through their performance, the singers sent to the audience musical performances about the heroic revolutionary tradition, the love of the country and the people of Vietnam.

At the same time, through cultural and artistic activities, it helps to connect overseas Vietnamese with their homeland, and strengthen the friendship between Vietnam and other countries in the world.

Previously, from September 3 to 6, 2022, HCMS also sent an art troupe to serve the 10th Vietnam Cultural Festival held at Gwanghwamun Square, Seoul of the Republic of Korea./.
