Naval officers and soldiers visit HCMC’s historical sites

Officers and soldiers of Naval Region 2 and 5, and representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City delegation, who have just finished the journey to the islands and the DK1/10 Framehouse in the southwest islands, visited the historical sites in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) on October 2.

Particularly, the delegates offered incense and flowers and spent one minute of silence in memory of President Ho Chi Minh and President Ton Duc Thang at Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City Branch and the memorial room for President Ton Duc Thang on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in District 4, respectively.
On the same day, they also visited the Ben Duoc martyrs memorial temple and Cu Chi Tunnels historical site in Cu Chi district. The delegates offered flowers to heroic Vietnamese mothers and martyrs.
The visit helps naval officers and soldiers have better understanding about revolutionary historical sites in HCMC./.
