Nguyen Van Hieu newly appointed as Vice Secretary of HCMC Party Committee

A ceremony has been held to announce the appointment decision for Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Board of the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Party Committee cum Secretary of the Party Committee of Thu Duc City, as Vice Secretary of HCMC Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu received 57 out of 59 votes of deputies.
Speaking at the appointment ceremony, Secretary of the HCMC Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen believed that the new Vice Secretary of the HCMC Party Committee will promote his creativity and experiences to continue contributing to the city’s development.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu thanked to the Politburo, the Secretariat, the PCC's Organization Commission, the Standing Committee of the HCMC Party Committee, and the HCMC Party Committee's Executive Board for believing in and assigned him a new position.
The newly-appointed Vice Secretary committed to making all efforts to complete assigned tasks and hoped that the Standing Committee of the HCMC Party Committee, the HCMC Party Committee's Executive Board, departments and agencies would side with him to improve performance at work.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu was born in 1976 in Binh Dinh province. He has a Master's degree in Education Management, and Bachelor's degree in Law and Administration, and graduated from a training course on advanced-level political theory./.
