Da Nang promotes attraction of foreign investment

At the meeting, the Consulate Generals’ representatives sent congratulations on the Lunar New Year 2023 to the Secretary of the City Party Committee and the leaders of the city. They congratulated him on and highly appreciated the results of socio-economic recovery and development achieved by Da Nang in 2022.

Consul Generals of China, Japan, Laos and the Russian Federation said they will continue to promote bilateral cooperation in the coming time, and enhance connectivity between Da Nang and localities and units of other countries. They also affirmed that they will continue to act as a bridge and introduce businesses to explore cooperation and investment opportunities in Da Nang city.

Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang congratulated China, Japan, Laos and the Russian Federation on the results and achievements of socio-economic development. He noted that Central Vietnam, especially Da Nang city, has many advantages in attracting investment such as abundant human resources, many preferential policies, many industrial parks and high technology parks. Currently, the city is oriented to attract investment in the fields of tourism, high technology and information technology, in line with the development trend of the world, and draws interest from many international businesses.

He expressed his hope that the Consuls General will continue to promote investment cooperation opportunities for businesses in Da Nang city, and coordinate in organizing cultural exchanges between countries. “City’s leaders are committed to always creating favorable conditions, simplifying administrative procedures, and promoting support for people and businesses from other countries living and working in Da Nang city,” he said./.
