Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that this is an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India, strengthening ties and deepening understanding of Vietnamese culture in general and Khanh Hoa culture and people in particular.

The two countries consider tourism a spearhead economic sector and have a close relationship, especially with the opening of direct flights, which is a favourable premise for tourism promotion between the two countries.

Ambassador Pranay Verma stressed that India invites Vietnamese tourists to come to India's spiritual tourism, with four famous places from the life of the Buddha. He added that the unique features of Champa culture in Vietnam also attracted the attention of many Indians.

At the seminar, participants also looked into Khanh Hoa’s cultural heritage, the similarities in the Buddhist culture of India and Vietnam, the potential of local cultural and spiritual tourism, and destinations of spiritual tourism in India.

On that basis, the delegates proposed solutions to promote the cooperative relationship, especially spiritual tourism culture./.
