Korean Ambassador presented insignia for contributions to relations with Vietnam

He was honored with the “For peace and friendship among nations” insignia for his contributions to promoting friendship between the two countries during a ceremony held on October 4.

Speaking at the ceremony, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Nguyen Phuong Nga congratulated Ambassador Park Noh Wan on successfully completing his term in Vietnam, saying that during his three-year term, the two countries, Vietnam and the RoK, have successfully organized many high-level delegation exchanges and reached many important agreements, which are the basis for helping the strategic partnership develop deeply, substantively and effectively.

The VUFO President expressed her belief that in the future, wherever he is, Ambassador Park Noh Wan and his family will continue to give valuable support to Vietnam, continuing to contribute to consolidating and further developing the friendship, solidarity and cooperation between the two countries.

Presenting the “For peace and friendship among nations” insignia to Ambassador Park Noh Wan, Ms Nga said that it is the highest award of the VUFO to honor the Ambassador's active contributions in promoting the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two peoples.

Expressing his honor at being awarded the insignia, Ambassador Park Noh Wan emphasized that even in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Vietnam - RoK relations are still on good momentum. After the pandemic is under control, Koreans are returning to Vietnam to travel, invest and work.

He affirmed that he will continue to introduce the beautiful image of Vietnam to international friends; while expressing his belief that with a good foundation, the RoK-Vietnam relationship will continue to grow stronger in all fields./.
