Lao and Cambodian students receive COVID-19 vaccination

Thirty nine Lao and Cambodian students have recently been vaccinated against COVID-19 at the Hanoi Law University dormitory. The vaccination was co-organised by the university and the Lang Ha Ward People’s Committee in Dong Da District.

The vaccination was conducted in accordance with the regulations and procedures ensuring safety.

Lao student of the Hanoi Law University Vilaxon Vansilalom said that he felt very secure when getting vaccinated against COVID-19. “On behalf of all Lao students, I would like to thank the university's management board for caring and creating conditions for Lao students to have the opportunity to be vaccinated against COVID-19,” he added. “In particular, over the past time, the university has also organized many activities to support necessities for Lao students to overcome difficulties in life.”

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thi Lan Anh, Vice Rector of the Hanoi Law University, to ensure the prevention and control of COVID-19, and health and safety for the university’s students, the university has cooperated with the Lang Ha Ward People's Committee to facilitate and support Lao and Cambodian students to be vaccinated.

In addition, to support international students during social distancing, the university has increased free use of electricity and water, and at the same time supported and awarded many gifts including medical masks and food for more than 40 Lao and Cambodian students staying in the university's dormitory. “The university has always accompanied the Lao and Cambodian students in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Ms Lan Anh./.
