Entitled “Dream Run”, the program was a charity activity to raise funds for heart surgery for underprivileged Vietnamese children.

According to the organizers, the fundraising program from the event this year is expected to attract about 10,000 participants through both online and field running.

Mr. Dennis Ng, General Director of Gamuda Land Vietnam, said that this program was interrupted after two years of the COVID-19 epidemic, but it always received the companionship and support of many people because of its humanitarian significance. The success of the program means more children with congenital heart disease will have a better chance of getting medical care.

Since its first time in 2013, it has helped raise more than VND35 billion for free heart surgery for 1,300 disadvantaged children nationwide.

What is more encouraging is that after the treatment, the families of children with congenital heart disease also gradually escape difficulties due to the reduction of fees for heart treatment.

The program will be reviewed on February 12, 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City./.
