Vietnam People's Navy presents logistics equipment to Royal Cambodian Navy

On November 28, at Moc Bai international border gate, Tay Ninh province, with the consent of the Ministry of National Defense, the Naval Region Zone 5 authorized by the Vietnam People's Navy Command held a ceremony to handover logistics equipment for the Coast Guard Command, Royal Cambodian Navy.

The logistical equipment included 200 double-decker iron beds; 3 systems of double oil stoves 250/K20; and 100 sets of stainless steel dining tables and chairs (100 tables and 600 chairs), valuing nearly VND3 billion.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Rear Admiral Nguyen Duy Ty, Commander of Naval Region Zone 5, summarized some highlights of the good traditional relationship between the people, the Army and the Navy of the two countries Vietnam - Cambodia; and expressed his hope that the equipment donated by the Vietnam People's Navy will contribute to helping the Coast Guard Command and the Royal Cambodian Navy improve the quality and efficiency of logistics work, meeting the requirements of the assigned task.

On behalf of the Royal Cambodian Navy, Admiral Srun Saroeun, Deputy Navy Commander, Commander of the Coast Guard Command, Royal Cambodian Navy, sincerely thanked the Vietnam People's Navy for the affection, attention, support and help; and affirmed that this was a vivid demonstration of the friendship and solidarity between the armies and navies of the two countries, contributing to further deepening the good neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and long-term sustainability between Vietnam and Cambodia./.
