Vietnamese Foreign Minister attends 2 ASEAN Meetings in Indonesia

At the invitation of Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son will attend the 32nd ASEAN Coordinating Council Meeting (ACC) and the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting Retreat (AMMR) in Jakarta, Indonesia, from February 3-4.

The ACC and AMMR meetings are among the first activities of Indonesia as the ASEAN Chair in 2023. On January 11, in a speech to members of the diplomatic delegations, Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi affirmed that the ASEAN Chairmanship 2023 wishes to see a resilient ASEAN which becomes a measure of cooperation, contributing to peace, stability and prosperity in the region and in the world.
With the theme “ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth”, Indonesia is determined to join ASEAN in becoming important and relevant to the people of ASEAN and the world./.
