The annual contest aims to create an environment for learning experiences, cultural exchanges, and encouraging the spirit of learning Japanese of the Vietnamese community in Japan.
With many successes in both the professional field and the organization process, the 1st Japanese Eloquence Contest has brought a great resonance to the Vietnamese community in Japan in general and the Kyushu region in particular.
The theme of the contest is "Japan in me" and it promises to bring a healthy playground with memorable experiences as well as an opportunity for contestants to confidently express and promote themselves in the best way.
The organizing board is going to receive registration form for the preliminary round from October 12-24, 2021. After sending the registration form, candidates will receive a notification email to send more videos to introduce themselves.
The preliminary round will take place from October 25 to November 1, 2021. Candidates selected for the preliminary round will send their entries to the organizers to select 10 best entries for the next round. The result of the preliminary round will be announced on November 5.
The video with the most interactions (likes) after posting on the fanpage will be directly selected to the final round. In case the number of interactions is equal, the video with the most shares will be selected. Video voting deadline is until 5:00 pm on November 4.
The final round will take place on November 23, 2021 at Kyushu Sangyo University.
The total prize value of the contest is up to 120,000JPY. In which, the first prize includes 50,000JPY along with cup, certificates of merit and souvenirs; the second prize consists of 30,000JPY with cup and certificate of merit; the third prize consists of 20,000JPY with cup and certificates of merit; two consolation prizes include 10,000JPY and certificate of merit. In addition, all contestants will receive certificates and souvenirs from the organizing board. In addition, the organizing board supports travel expenses for contestants (maximum 5,000JPY/contestant)./.
