75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day marked in France

An incense offering ceremony was held by the Vietnamese Embassy and representative agencies in France to commemorate fallen soldiers for the Fatherland on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2022).

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang affirmed that throughout the resistance wars to save the country and gain national independence, there have been millions of fallen soldiers, who have entered the glorious golden history of the nation, like an immortal epic.

On behalf of all staff of Vietnamese representative agencies in France, Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang expressed his wish to continue the glorious mission left behind by the martyrs and, following Uncle Ho's teachings, vow to do their best to make the country stronger and more glorious.

After the incense offering ceremony, the Vietnamese Party Committee in France held a screening of a documentary film about gratitude activities at home on the occasion of Invalids and Martyrs' Day. On this occasion, staff of representative agencies of Vietnam in France also shared touching stories about their family members who are relatives of martyrs or wounded soldiers./.
