Additional about 360 Vietnamese citizens brought home from Japan

Nearly 360 Vietnamese citizens were flown home from Japan on a Vietjet Air flight on November 16.

Nearly 350 Vietnamese citizens from Canada land at Van Don Airport safely

The passengers included children under 18, pregnant women, the ill, workers with expired labour contracts, students without accommodations and others in extremely disadvantaged circumstances.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Japan sent staff to the airport to assist the citizens to do check-in procedures before boarding.

During the flight, safety and preventive measures were strictly applied to protect the passengers’ health and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease.

All passengers and crew members received medical check-ups and were sent to quarantine sites in line with regulations right after landing at Cam Ranh airport in Khanh Hoa province.

More repatriation flight will be conducted in the coming time to bring home Vietnamese citizens in disadvantaged circumstances abroad in line with their wishes, the developments of the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine capacity at home./.
