Ambassador Pham Viet Anh receives Editor-in-Chief of Diplomat Magazine

Diplomat Magazine is a prestigious diplomatic magazine in the Netherlands, established in June 2013. It has both a periodical publication and an online website with about 60,000 visits per month.

At the meeting, Dr. Mayelinne De Lara reiterated that the Vietnamese Embassy was one of the five sponsors and co-founders of the magazine, expressing its thanks for the support and accompaniment of the Embassy and diplomatic generations of Vietnam in the Netherlands for the magazine.

Ambassador Pham Viet Anh affirmed his desire to further cooperate with Diplomat Magazine and Dutch press agencies in order to introduce images of the country, people and investment environment of Vietnam to international friends.

The ambassador suggested a number of cooperation plans in the coming time, such as exchanging international research articles, and introducing overseas Vietnamese students to do internships at international organizations.

Ms. Mayelinne also invited Ambassador Pham Viet Anh to write articles for Diplomat Magazine's publications in the coming time, especially the French version that was just established in 2019.

Most recently, on September 17, the Vietnamese Embassy created conditions for Diplomat Magazine to successfully organize activities to support Dutch citizen Arman Angishan to enroll in the Guinness World Record for visiting the largest number of embassies in La Haye in 24 hours./.
