Ambassador visits Vietnamese people in Netherlands’ Venlo

Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands Pham Viet Anh, his spouse and some embassy officials, on August 27 visited Vietnamese people in West Venlo, a small Dutch city bordering Germany.

In Venlo, overseas Vietnamese have organized a lot of activities attracting 300 – 400 people such as Lunar New Year Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, with the contribution of families. 

During the visit, the Ambassador, his spouse and embassy officials together sang songs about revolution and the homeland of Vietnam, and southern folk songs.

On this occasion, Ambassador Anh encouraged the overseas Vietnamese to further uphold the solidarity tradition, organize more significant activities to build the stronger Vietnamese community and preserve the national cultural identity, preserve Vietnamese language for future generations and contribute to build the country to be more prosperous and stronger./.
