BAOTV presents gifts to Thai and Vietnamese students at Udon Thani Royal University

The Businessmen Association of Thai-Vietnam (BAOTV), the Businessmen Association of Thai-Vietnam of Udon Thani province and Udon Thani Royal University on September 22 organized a program to give gifts and scholarships to support Vietnamese and Thai students affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Recently, BAOTV has organized many support programs and taken practical actions towards the homeland as well as the host society and the Vietnamese community in Thailand.

This is the second time BAOTV has organized to present gifts to support students studying at Udon Thani Royal University, with 60 gifts.

Speaking at the program, President of BAOTV Ho Van Lam encouraged and shared difficulties with Vietnamese students studying at the university, affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and hoped that the students stay healthy and study well.

President of the Businessmen Association of Thai-Vietnam of Udon Thani province Phan Thi Hong awarded a scholarship worth 30,000 baht to 60 Vietnamese and Thai students affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prof. Charoon Thawornchak, Rector of Udon Thani Royal University, thanked BAOTV and overseas Vietnamese in Thailand for the noble gestures always given to Vietnamese and Thai students studying at the university. He hoped that this interest and help would be maintained forever, contributing to building the relationship between the university and BAOTV./.
