Contest about Vietnamese language held in Republic of Tatarstan

A contest named “Vietnamese language is rich and beautiful” has been organized by the Youth Union of Kazan city and the Overseas Vietnamese Students Association in Kazan city of the Republic of Tatarstan to celebrate the 132nd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.

The contest aimed to create an atmosphere of exciting competition, contributing to further strengthening the solidarity and cohesion among the overseas Vietnamese student community living and studying in the city.
This is the first time a contest of the Vietnamese language has been held in Kazan city to exchange and learn about the richness and beauty of the Vietnamese language and thereby built up the beauty of traditional culture and preserved its purity in every Vietnamese person.
The contest was divided into four rounds with the participation of 25 contestants.
During the contest, contestants were challenged with questions about Vietnamese vocabulary and grammar, phrases, idioms, folk songs, proverbs and guessing words.
In addition, an art program imbued with Vietnamese cultural and spirit was also performed by overseas Vietnamese students./.
