Cultivating friendship and youth cooperation expansion between Vietnam and Russia

The Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam in collaboration with Russia’s Federation Agency for Youth Affairs organized the online Vietnam-Russia and Russia – Vietnam Youth Forum 2021.

The forum takes place in 3 days from November 24 to 26, 2021 in online and person-to-person forms in Vietnam and Russia.

Speaking at the opening of the forum, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam, wished that Vietnamese and Russian young people would share and discuss their practical experiences, good, creative and applicable ways to improve the adaptive capacity of young people, contributing to the comprehensive development of Vietnamese - Russian youth.

For his part, Vice President of Russia’s Federation Agency for Youth Affairs Andrey Ivanovich Platonov hoped that the Vietnam-Russia Youth Forum will be a meaningful activity where young people can together share their experiences and ideas.

At the forum, youth delegates of the two countries held a discussion themed "Vietnamese - Russian youth strengthen cooperation and promote green tourism" and "Vietnamese-Russian youth volunteer to fight COVID-19 for social security”. Accordingly, the youth of the two countries will discuss volunteering activities and tourism, and will give specific suggestions related to these issues.

Within the framework of the forum, the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Youth Academy and the Moscow State University of Education, named Herzen, took place in an online form./.
