The Vietnamese Community Football Tournament in Russia in Summer 2022 has just been held at Bratislava Park Stadium in Moscow.

The football tournament, organized by the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Russia, aims to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the August Revolution, Vietnam’s National Day (September 2) and welcome the success of the 31st SEA Games held in Vietnam.
The event was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Dang Minh Khoi, Chairman of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Russia Do Xuan Hoang, representatives of overseas Vietnamese associations, and a large number of Vietnamese people working and living in the capital Moscow, with a record number of about 450 players and coaches from 14 football teams participating in the tournament.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi thanked the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Russia, the associations of overseas Vietnamese as well as the players who have joined hands to organize the community football tournament that the Ambassador believes is very professional.
The 14 teams were divided into two groups to select the top four teams from each group to enter the next round. The tournament will end on August 10./.
