(CPV) - The French Embassy in Vietnam and the Vietnamese Alumni Association in France (UAVF) organized a Gala concert at the end of the year with the theme "Spring Garden - Jardin du Printemps" on January 31st in Hanoi.

The event is the 6th annual gala concert helping Vietnamese Alumni in France or lovers of France to integrate into the romantic atmosphere of love songs.

The gala concert includes famous French songs performed by singer My Linh and alumni and buffet.

UAVF was established in 2009 from the idea of a group of overseas Vietnamese students living and studying in France. Currently, the association has about 600 members, who had lived or studied in France for at least six months. The association regularly organizes cultural and sports exchanges.

France welcomes the largest number of Vietnamese students of any European country with 6,500 students and about 1,200 new students planning to go to study each year. The Vietnamese Alumni Association in France is a bridge to create conditions for alumni to exchange with each other and helps them maintain their relation with France, where they had lived and studied.

In the framework of the program, UAVF presents awards to the competition named "France in mine", with the first prize is a round-trip airline tickets to France./.
