HCMC organizes art troupes to serve overseas Vietnamese

The organization of art troupes to perform in service of overseas Vietnamese in other countries shows the special interest of the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) for overseas Vietnamese; recognizing and appreciating the contribution of overseas Vietnamese to the homeland.

The art troup of HCMC led by Mr. Nguyen Hoai Huong, Director of the city’s Center for Performance and Cinema, had a tour to serve overseas Vietnamese and Filipino people in the capital Manila on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Through their performance, the singers sent to the audience musical performances about the heroic revolutionary tradition, the love of the country and the people of Vietnam.

At the same time, through cultural and artistic activities, it helped to connect overseas Vietnamese with their homeland, and strengthen the friendship between Vietnam and other countries in the world.

Previously, from September 3 to 6, 2022, HCMS also sent an art troupe to serve the 10th Vietnam Cultural Festival held at Gwanghwamun Square, Seoul, the Republic of Korea./.
