The 15th Summer Camp for young overseas Vietnamese kicked off on July 26 in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), attracting about 45 overseas Vietnamese youths aged 12-25 from countries and territories worldwide.

The annual camp, themed “Proud of Vietnam”, is co-organized by the HCMC Committee for overseas Vietnamese and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in the city.
According to Mr. Vo Thanh Chat, Deputy Chairman of the committee and head of the summer camp 2022, said the camp creates an opportunity for young overseas Vietnamese to meet, exchange and share the unique culture of each country and improve their communication skills.
Participating in the event gives young overseas Vietnamese and local youths a chance to learn more about their homeland, said Nguyen Tran Minh Quan, a student studying in the US.
During the camp, various activities are being held throughout HCMC, Ben Tre and Tien Giang provinces./.
