Ho Chi Minh City organizes art troupe to serve overseas Vietnamese in Europe

The art troupe is led by Distinguished Artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City.

Through their performance, artists of the art troupe have put on special cultural performances about spring, homeland, heroic traditions of the nation and so on for the audience.

The organization of the art troupe to serve overseas Vietnamese in European countries shows the special attention of the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City to overseas Vietnamese, especially those living far from their homeland, without favourable conditions to return to Vietnam to celebrate Tet.

Not only overseas Vietnamese but also local people highly appreciate the performances of the art troupe. The performances have left unforgetable emotions in the audience’s hearts.

In addition to the art program organized by the art troupe of Ho Chi Minh City, Overseas Vietnamese Associations in European countries have organized many activities to celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year, such as decorating the five-fruit tray, organizing traditional Vietnamese cuisine fairs, lottery, charity donation and so on./.
