Nearly 300 overseas Vietnamese teachers trained in 2021

Through the training course, the trainees have been equipped with pedagogical skills and professional, modern Vietnamese teaching methods which have high application. In addition, the trainees are also provided with and shared valuable teaching materials, compiled by experienced language experts, to support in improving Vietnamese teaching skills for overseas Vietnamese teachers.

This is the 7^th training course co-held by the SCOV and Ministry of Education and Training. This is also the first one which is held online, with the participation of the largest number of overseas Vietnamese teachers. 

Accordingly, the training course included one module for Vietnamese teachers in Asia – Australia and one for Vietnamese teachers in Europe – North America. The second one took place from October 9 to December 17, attracting the participation of nearly 300 trainees from 30 nations and territories.  

The trainees were taught by 8 prestigious and experienced lecturers in Vietnamese teaching from Hanoi National University of Education and VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

In the framework of the training course, a seminar on the situation of teaching and learning Vietnamese language in the overseas Vietnamese community and measures to promote learning Vietnamese language was also held.

At the seminar, the SCOV and Ministry of Education and Training recorded many ideas of overseas Vietnamese teachers to seek measures to remove difficulties to improve professional standards and effectively raise teaching quality for overseas teachers./.
